Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy Egg™ chair

The original Egg™ chair designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958, features in the new book ‘And Another Thing’, the 6th book in the Hitchhiker’s double trilogy written by Eoin Colfer. Celebrating the book launch, Irish design company, Lost Weekend, has teamed up with Penguin and Fritz Hansen in creating a Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy limited edition Egg™ chair. The 42 individually numbered chairs with redesigned upholstery by Lost Weekend’s design team will feature a unique embroidered exploding earth on the back, hand finished to add to their exclusivity. The front of the chair features stunning optical white leather with a natural seat cushion. The chair is following the author on his book tour, which kicked off in London and will be travelling to US and Canada during the next month. Watch itinerary here.
