On Thursday, 9 June, Designer Kasper Salto and architect Thomas Sigsgaard were announced as the winners of the design competition to design new furniture for the UN Headquarters in New York. The PK22™ chair, designed by Danish designer Poul Kjærholm in 1956, is now introduced with the original cotton canvas. This particular type of canvas was last used on the PK22 in 1963.
