BEHIND THE SCENES

Pure aesthetics is not only in the finish – sometimes the process is equally fascinating. Everywhere you look beauty can occur as it always lies in the eye of the beholder. In this case a young girl, an amateur photographer, walking around our factory shot these images. A unique and rare look behind the scenes of our classic design icons the Swan™ and the Egg™ designed by Arne Jacobsen. The images show a raw capture of our design furniture in the making – a rather different yet captivating image than the usual esthetic experience of a design piece. these photos are absolutely stunning!!! I’m doing research on reupholstering an 1966 egg chair in leather, and am wondering if i can contact the factory directly for questions? the rep in nyc had informed me that if the foam is damaged then the factory would not be able to repair.. would like to find out what else can be done. thanks!
